Little Hideaway on a Little Getaway

Over the summer my partner and I decided to take a short break away from the responsibilities of life and drove down the coast to sunny, eclectic Byron Bay. We decided to stay in a cute little cabin in the Byron Holiday Park, a short bus ride from the bustling main town center. Having just arrived and a little peckish we were pleased to discover that there was a cafe on site, the Spoke Coffee Brewers.

The cafe itself has mostly outdoor seating with picnic tables shaded by umbrellas and leafy trees and also rugs on the grass for a relaxing picnic all the while enjoying light sea breezes.

Spoke provides a menu that is on the small side but delicious, packed full of fresh ingredients, some of which is produced on site.

The super juicy cheese burger is generous and so tasty with pickles and house made chilli jam that gives it a dash of fire, served with a side of radish.

We ended up eating at Spoke at least once every day and enjoyed the exquisite, freshly roasted coffee, surrounded by friendly locals and tourists and by natures beautiful bush land and wildlife. Truth be told we returned back home relaxed, refreshed and with some yummy chilli jam!
